Hangouts Meet review
Hangouts Meet (or Google Hangouts) is a group chat service for communicating with work colleagues, clients, and friends. Used for messaging, calls, and video calls. In Google Hangouts, you can create a video meeting for up to 10 people for free, with no time limit for the event.
Interface and navigation
The service is integrated with the Google calendar, so you and your colleagues can make appointments with each other, and share plans for the week during a video call. After going to hangouts.google.com, you are taken to the web version of Google Hangouts. In the center of the window, there are buttons for three main actions: video call, audio call, message. The main menu is located on the top left. Some icons provide quick access to contacts, chat, and calls. To change the current settings of the service, click on the "Settings" item. Allow the service to show other users the time of your last actions and the devices you use to communicate.
Active users of Google services will feel familiar and comfortable with this video chat. Video conferencing takes place directly on the Google+ page. They can be recorded and then shared via Google+ and YouTube. To get started, you need to download the Hangouts plugin (or just go to the service website), open Gmail or Google+. Your colleague will receive a notification on Gmail with an invitation to a video call if a colleague has already opened a mail window, the video call will appear automatically, the user only needs to accept the call. Everything is pretty clear and convenient. Participants can connect in the course of a conversation, share files from Google Drive, collaborate on notes and documents, and save files to a shared virtual drive. The upside is that chats sync across your devices.
Google Meet has many anti-abuse tools to help keep your conferences safe. Google Meet set up quite a difficult programming code to save your conferences from any frauds.
